David Brown Santasalo UK receives ISO accreditations

David Brown Santasalo (DBS) is delighted to have achieved the internationally recognised ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Standard, along with the new 2018 accreditation; ISO 45001:2018 in Health and Safety.

Attaining these standards is extremely important for DBS, as it demonstrates their commitment to EHS, along with ensuring they provide their workforce with a safe and healthy working environment.  The team also demonstrated their dedication to continuous improvement in all areas.

Joanne Spalding, ESH Manager at David Brown Santasalo comments, “I am immensely proud of this achievement for the Huddersfield site. The commitment and the culture on this site is key to our success and the team have always led by example, adopting ‘Safety First’ when making any decisions.  I am proud to be part of a team that continually strives to be better year on year.”

Joanne continues, “The ISO 45001:2018 in particular is a real accolade for the team as it has only been in force for a short time, meaning only a handful of businesses have made this outstanding achievement.” 
The UK team will continue to be monitored every six months with recertification due October 2019.
