DBS Chile achieve Gold Category H&S Award in Consecutive Years!

David Brown Santasalo is proud to share the team in Chile have achieved the Gold Category, Occupational Health and Safety at Work Award for the second year running! The team have been recognised for their commitment and outstanding performance by leading workplace health and safety law company, Mutual de Seguridad for several years now. However, this is the second consecutive year they have reached the Gold standard!

Led by Head of EHS at DBS Chile, Georgina Serey, along with her team; the President of H&S Committee, Hector Betancur, Secretary of H&S Committee, Marco Lillo, Safety Officer & Prevention Advisor, Camila Villegas and H&S committee member, Jose Miranda. The team work all year round with their colleagues in Chile to ensure the safety measures put into place are followed diligently.

To mark this fantastic achievement, we welcomed the Chain of Command and expert Advisor from the Mutual de Seguridad to our facility in Antofagasta, Chile. The distinction was presented to Camila Villegas in a ceremony attended by all employees based at the workshop.

Priscilla Báez from the Mutual de Seguridad said, “The outgoing Committee at David Brown Santasalo have set the bar high for consecutively obtaining the highest distinction. We hope that in this ceremony, we have been able to plant the seed for new applicants to present themselves and become part of this important technical body.”

Georgina Serey, Head of EHS at DBS Chile said, “We believe that small actions bring big results and there is prevention in action! We are committed to continually improving our practices and it is great to have these achievements recognised by such a key Health & Safety body.”
