DBS attend MinEXPO 2024
David Brown Santasalo rolled up to the Las Vegas Convention Centre on Paradise Road in Las Vegas Nevada, USA on 24th September 2024 for the MinEXPO International Exhibition! The event is held every four years and this unqiue location provides an electric and vibrant backdrop for all who attend.
As always the event attracted a huge attendance from right across the globe, and of course our team were there to share the amazing products, services and support that David Brown Santasalo provide to the Mining Industry. Led by John Catalano, Manging Director – DBS USA, he was joined by colleagues from our USA locations in Greer, South Carolina and Salt Lake City, Utah, along with Canada, Chile, Sweden, France and Finland. As it only happens once every four years, the team pulled out all the stops to make it count.
We created quite a buzz through our warm and inviting stand, attracting many visitors who wanted to find out more about the solutions we could provide to their business needs. Our pyramid of dice created some really exciting drama, with the word spreading throughout the conference, and by the third day we had delegates seeking out our stand to roll the dice and try their hand at winning an iPad!
At our stand, delegates had an array of exciting gear models to learn about, the AMF flotation drive garnered a lot of enquiries. And we took the opportunity to promote the next phase in our carbon footprint of products project, which identified the need to screen the greenhouse gas emissions of our multi-segmented ring gears and develop a simple tool for emissions calculations.
“This event is always an exciting one and the 2024 exhibition didn’t disappoint. We were fortunate to meet industry peers from right across the world, particularly forming new customer connections from countries such as Loas, India and the Philippines, in addition, of course to those based in North America. It was great to see so many people seek out our stand and the dice certainly created the pull we were hoping for! We look forward to MinEXPO 2028.”
