DBS Takes to the Slopes at the Ski Cross World Cup Final!

30.03.2026

What a weekend for Gällivare and for DBS!

Over the weekend, from Friday 27th - Sunday 29th March, the Ski Cross World Cup Final in Gällivare, Sweden took place. It was an incredible event to witness, and a proud moment for DBS. The team from our DBS Gällivare site worked hard in the lead‑up to the competition, organising DBS‑branded flags and ski banners along the course.

Sweden’s Sandra Näslund delivered a standout performance on home snow to claim the women’s victory, with Marielle Berger Sabbatel and Daniela Maier finishing just behind her on the podium. In the men’s race, Canada’s Reece Howden crossed the line in second place after a tightly contested finish with Olympic champion Simone Deromedis, rounding off a season in which he earned 11 podiums and secured his second consecutive Crystal Globe.

Amid all the action, it was fantastic to see the DBS‑branded flags and banners lining the track. With the event broadcast live worldwide, it offered an incredible visibility moment for our brand and a celebration of collaboration across regions.

"It was an amazing event and a proud moment to support Sweden’s national team. Watching local favourite Sandra Näslund take the win made it even more memorable. We’re excited to continue building our partnership with Sweden Ski and look forward to supporting them for many seasons to come."
