DBS UK recommission Sharmann machining centre!

We are pleased to share the successful completion of a major project at our Service Centre in Huddersfield, UK. The recommissioning of the Sharmann machining centre marks a significant enhancement to our in-house capabilities.
This advanced equipment enables the restoration of existing customer gear cases to an “like-new” condition, helping to minimise production downtime and reduce capital expenditure through the utilisation of OEM aftermarket support, for both our own brand and third-party assets.
“The final machine guarding was installed just before Christmas, and the new case machining centre is now fully operational. I’d like to say a special thank you to our Workshop & Facilities Manager, Darren Horn, and his team for their outstanding efforts, supported by contractors from Vertusia and Richlea Developments Ltd. We are excited to see the Sharmann machining centre fully operational and delivering value to our customers throughout 2026!”
