David Brown Santasalo UK team members complete BOSIET Offshore Training

The Aftermarket team at David Brown Santasalo UK are pleased to confirm a number of its team members recently completed the BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) course. The course provides the necessary logistical skills to handle a variety of emergency scenarios when working in offshore environments. We are delighted to share this will double our capacity to support our customers with their offshore requirements around the world!

One of our newly BOSIET qualified team members, Alfie Brown, will carry out his first offshore trip later this year, as he visits an Indian Oil Exploration and Production (E&P), which requires the overhaul of two high-speed gear units. Alfie (pictured above) also recently completed his Apprenticeship in the Service and Repair department of our Huddersfield-based UK facility, and we are so pleased to see him adding to his knowledge even further with this latest qualification.
