Introducing the DBS Blog: Engineering insight, shared

We’re pleased to launch the DBS Blog, a new space where we’ll share technical insight, industry perspectives and engineering knowledge drawn from real‑world experience across the industries we support.

Our first article, Girth Gears: Traditional Ring vs Multi‑Segmented, takes a closer look at two common girth gear design approaches and explores the practical considerations behind each. From installation and maintenance through to long‑term reliability, the piece is designed to help engineers and asset owners better understand how design choices can influence performance over the lifecycle of critical equipment.
