Job Summary
David Brown Santasalo are excited to announce a new opportunity for a talented Financial Controller based at our Huddersfield, West Yorkshire site. This is a key role supporting the growth and control within the UK Defence business. Responsibility for managing the day to day operations of the finance team including Accounts Receivable, Credit Controller, Accounts Payable and Management Accounts preparation, in addition to supporting on strategic and system developments for the UK Defence business.
Requirement to work closely with the other areas of the business to ensure a smooth operational process and internal financial controls are strong. You will be required to have a Knowledge of project and contract accounting, SAP experience and the capability to run month end processes. A manufacturing background is desirable with experience in VAT, direct tax knowledge and R&D claims. We are looking for somebody who has a hands – on, proactive approach to positively impact the business.
